Frabelle’s story began in 1966, when Francis and Bella Tiu-Laurel purchased a single secondhand fishing boat to start a small trawl fishing company within Philippine waters. With perseverance and passion, the company expanded operations, shifted to purse seining small pelagic fish, and eventually ventured into tuna fishing. By 1981, Frabelle had extended its reach beyond the Philippines into the Western and Central Pacific, steadily investing in more boats, modernizing techniques, and opening doors to new opportunities.
